Charity Commission consultation- changes to Annual Returns

Charity Commission logo

The Charity Commission are seeking views on a number of significant proposals about the information collected through the annual return and published on the register of charities. They are consulting now because they intend that any decisions taken that affect the content of the annual return, and Charity Commission online support for it, are made in time for the annual return in 2014.

The annual return is an opportunity for charities to tell the public what they do and the benefits they provide. The information provided in the annual return feeds directly through to each charity’s entry on the register and is freely available to the public via the Charity Commission website.

There are 10 proposals for which the Charity Commission seek feedback.

For more information, please go to the Consultation area on the Charity Commission’s website.
