Help your local residents save money on their fuel bills and have your hall hired at the same time.

“If you have never switched suppliers before, or are a bit unsure how to, or just want some general advice about how to save money on your fuel bills then we may have the answer for you” says Marita Ward of Cornwall Rural Community Council.

FREE training sessions for anyone concerned about their energy bills or are interested in keeping the costs to a minimum.

Cornwall Rural Community Council (CRCC) in partnership with Citizens Advice and energy regulator Ofgem, are delivering simple advice on how to switch energy suppliers and to save money. We will also provide information on how to access measures to improve the efficiency of your house.

The free, one hour training sessions are on offer to any groups such as coffee mornings, luncheon clubs, mental health groups, residents associations, Parish Councils or Village halls.  They can be delivered at CRCC’s offices in Truro or on-site within your community.

Each session needs a minimum of eight people and each attendee will receive a free energy pack with TV and computer power downs and energy advice booklets.

The campaign provides simple advice on how to ensure consumers are not paying more than they need to and how to reduce energy costs by switching tariff or supplier.

For more information or to book a session, phone CRCC on 01872 243532 and ask for Rosie or email rosie.waite@cornwallrcc.org.uk.
