CRCC is teaming up with Communities for Renewables CIC  – a social enterprise that helps proactive communities to generate their own energy – to investigate how we can help community buildings in Cornwall become hubs for new local energy enterprises. The idea is to help community buildings in Cornwall to install solar panels and biomass heating, which will help reduce bills and generate income for the community. Where there is local interest in doing more, we can help the community set up its own local energy cooperative to generate energy and income from community owned renewable energy, and help people to save money on their energy bills through energy efficiency and tariff switching.

We want to hear from proactive committees that would like to get involved,  help shape the project and contribute to energy resilient  communities in Cornwall.

Register your interest with us as and we’ll invite you to an information event in the near future.
