Superfast Cornwall logoThe Superfast Cornwall programme funded by the EU, Cornwall Council and BT and managed by Cornwall Development Company has been working with many village halls across Cornwall over the last few years to run IT courses for beginners and help local people learn how to use the Internet.

The programme is looking to bring together representatives from village halls across Cornwall to take part in discussion groups to explore how superfast broadband technology is being adopted by village halls and the extent to which it is benefiting local communities.

This is an invitation to attend one of these groups which will be a valuable learning opportunity to find out what other village halls are doing and share best practice about how technology can benefit local people of all ages.

There will be two groups, both taking place in Truro on 19 March – one for village halls that have superfast broadband and another for those that do not.

For attendance to one of the groups we are able to offer an honorarium for personal expenses of £25 at the end of the group, which alternatively could be donated to your hall if you would prefer.

We look forward to your participation in the focus group in what should be a most interesting exercise and also offer you a networking opportunity with other village hall representatives from around Cornwall.

As there are a limited number of places available, could you please contact the local research company arranging the groups, PFA Research in Penryn, on 01326 375705, or email beate.galke@pfa-research.com to confirm if you are available to attend.
