ACRE has notified us that the changes to the  Feed-in Tariff Legislation which will enable charities to  manage a community energy project has been laid before parliament and will come into force 1st April.

ACRE has been alerting Defra and DECC through briefings and consultations that charities should be included in legislation as an organisation that can manage a community energy project along with community interest companies (CIC) co-operative societies and community benefit societies.
