LCF Consultation – Deborah Clarke – Thu 02 Apr 2015

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) launched a consultation this week on reforming the Landfill Communities Fund in order to improve the flow of funding to communities and prevent the accumulation of unspent funds in the future. This consultation will be of particular interest to voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) organisations that receive, or wish to receive, funding for community or environmental projects. The consultation contains the group’s proposals for comment, which include introducing a time limit within which LCF funds must be spent. The deadline for responses is 10 June 2015 (11:45pm).
