Big-Lottery-Event-Page-PhotoOn Thursday 14th May CRCC held a joint event with Big Lottery to support community organisations with a building related project.

The aim was to demonstrate what types of projects can attract funding from the Reaching Communities, Buildings programme and how to make a strong application, which clearly demonstrates the local need.

Jon Teague, one of the workshop presenters described the event:

“There was an excellent atmosphere with almost 40 representatives from local community projects discussing ideas and plans- it was really energising and inspiring to see so much activity all directed at improving facilities in Cornish communities.”

Presentations and workshops were delivered as well as some really valuable 1-to-1 sessions with Big Lottery representatives to discuss specific projects with applicants. Thanks go to Jenny Fish and Simon Murray of the Big Lottery and David Slatter of Access Planning and Design Ltd who helped make this a successful event.
